Restoring the Trunk Hands-on Mentoring and Mastery for Advanced Movers
Integrating the Pilates Arc
The trunk is both our center of gravity and the support system for the upper body. In this intensive, we will explore the structures of the trunk, with a special focus on the diaphragm, to establish dynamic equilibrium from the shoulder girdle to the hip socket. This hands-on experience with Madeline Black will give you a deeper understanding and felt sense for the spine, its muscular and fascial attachments, and neighboring structures. On day two, you will have an opportunity to witness Madeline's restorative techniques in action while working with a client.
You will learn:
-Restorative skills for the breath and body specifically designed for the Pilates Arc
-Mat choreography easily integrated into any Pilates or bodywork session
-Guiding and corrective touch to restore the trunk to optimal alignment and function for movement
Also included: a Master class with Madeline
Experience a movement class led by Madeline designed to deepen your personal practice.
